IMPORTANT NOTES!
- Hebrew and Islamic day begin at sunset of the day before.
- Gregorian years before Christ are in astronomical system (0 = 1 bC, -1 = 2 bC and so on) while Julian years before Christ have minus but are in historical system (-1 = 1 bC)! Thus, for example, type -44 for 45 bC. See http://digilander.iol.it/elam/bibbia/annozero.htm for some remarks.
- Catholic Easter followed the Julian calendar till 1582; since 1583 it follows the Gregorian calendar. The Gregorian calendar was introduced on Friday 1582, 10, 5 Julian = 1582, 10, 15 Gregorian.
- Astronomical full moon is given in Dynamical Time (TD). Universal Time (UT) is Dynamical Time minus 65 seconds near year 2000. Italy time zone is UT + 1 hour (UT + 2 hours during daylight saving time).
- The dates are calculated according to the algorithms given in Dershowitz N. / Reingold E.M., Calendrical Calculations, Cambridge 1997 (I took the on-line errata document into consideration... but there's also a new edition of the book) <http://emr.cs.uiuc.edu/home/reingold/calendar-book>. The astronomical full moon is calculated according to Meeus J., Astronomical Algorithms, Richmond 1998 (2nd ed.).
- About the dates of Easter, give a look at http://digilander.iol.it/elam/bibbia/calendari.htm (in italian). An Easter calculator in Javascript by Songia Eugenio is at http://space.tin.it/edicola/esongi/calcolopasqua.htm (it works off-line too).
